XPro® DURA

XPro® Dura is a polyurethane coating containing an abrasion resistant polyamide bead layer to offer extra durability when forming and site handling. It offers a better coating thickness and improved performance compared to Polyester.

A standard coating thickness gives excellent exterior durability. Greater resistance to animal, vegetable fats and oils, petroleum oils and aliphatic hydrocarbons.

The product has excellent colour retention over a wide spectrum of solid and metallic colours and good corrosion resistance especially when coated on 275 hot-dipped galvanised substrate, compared to AZ150 galvalume (aluzinc) or other zinc/aluminium coated metal substrates (based on 6 years Swedish west coast testing).

In most temperate environments a life to first maintenance of the coating of 30 years can
be expected.

Usage

The surface is suitable for roll forming and fixing without the need for post-applied protective film and there is also a special (waxy) formulation for deep profiles and hard roll-forming.
